Kaip ir visada bananai is to paties draugelio, zalumynai is bobulytes, pomidorai is geru akiu dieduko, sviezi grazus ridikeliai ir kito dieduko, su perspejimu ju nelupti, nes jie tokie gardus. Turkams musu pazistami ridikeliai nera pazistami. Jie turi siek tiek kitokius dazniausiai didelius... ir svelnius. Na bet ne esme gi ridikeliai is mesininkko nusipirkome mesos, is kepyklos siltuteles duonos, besisukant ir kraunant viska i kuprines sulaukem savo linksmuju biciuliu is Alanijos.
Miestas is triju pusiu apsuptas skardziais, todel labai tinkamas gynybai, o i miesta galima patekti keliu tik is pietines puses, per tuos pietinius miesto vartus mes ir atkeliavome.
(istorija isgalvota mano vyro :))
Dabar laukiame velyku, o iki ju reikia gi pasidaryti generalini valyma namuose...

Last sunday we had a wonderful picnic in the antique Seleukia city. Spring is one of the best season for traveling around and exploring nature as well as having good time with friends. As a typical Turkish family who doesn't have their own business or do not work as officers we have only one day off and it is Sunday. After our Sunday ritual-shopping in farmer market our friend from Alanya arrived.
Backsacks, grill and meat was ready and we left town and were getting close to the top of mountain. Our aim of the day was to have nice grill in open air. In addition to that the place we were going could offer something extra to that we wanted. We were getting close to Seleukia.
In Anatolia there are many ancient cities bearing the names of the kings of the Hellenistic Selukos State. One of them is Pamphylia’s Seleukia and it is located around 90km from Antalya and 20km from Manavgat. The road is asphalt. In 3rd century BC the city was founded as an acropolis.
The place of city foundation is the top of a hill surrounded by cliffs an three sides, which could be reached only from the south. Agora and city centerare situated to the west of this hill.
Seleukia became the shelter for many intellectuals, scients and artists of Side and all they continued their studies of science and art here during the period when Side was under the control of the bandits and pirates. The only importance of the city which had almost no commercial income was that it had a good defence system and was located at a strategic point.
Seleukia city became small and it eventually turned to ruins as this strategic importance dissappeared. Beside visiting this wonderful place we had a grill party with a stunning view.

My husband told us the "real" story of Selaukia that this was a shelter of the roman gays who had to run away from Side. Because they have been rich this place was so nice but again because they were gays there was no children that is why we have theese stuning ruins in the mountains... I have to admit my husband has good imagination.
After enjoying my beloved meat balls on the grill and lamb sis we went for a tour around Seleukia met a turtle, scorpion and ugly warm...
Well it was one more great weekend with great friends.

Dalis verlsininku is viso be poilsio, kita dalis verlininku nuolatos iseiginese :D Valstybininkai turi mums iprasta dvieju dienu savaitgali.
Labai grazi vieta.
O tas miestukas toks be zmoniu apsaugos stovi ? Musuose seniai butu isnesiotas po akmenuka :D
Zilvinai, visiskai nepriziurimas, aukstai kalnuose esantis miestas, realiai nelabai toli nuo Side, kiek mes uztrukome kol nuvaziavome iki pat vietos gal kokia 15 minuciu na gal 20. O neima niekas, nes pilna tiek akmenu tiek visko Turkijoj, nu nebent butu marmuras, tai zinai ukiski turkai sunaudotu laiptu gamybai ar darkam nors, bet ten tu beverciu akemnu niekas netampo :D
