Spinatu pyragas || Spinach in the owen

Vakar gaminau POPEYE vakarienie, gyvendama Lietuvoje tiesa sakant nelabai susiduriau su spinatais. Spinatai buvo labiau zinomi is filmuku apie jureivi Popeye.
Taciau Turkijoje visada gausu svieziu ir pigiu spinatu, kuriuos cia zmones perka kilogramais, kad butu lengviai isivaizduoti kaip atrodo kilogramas spinatu, tai mintyse paimkite MAXIMA vidutinio dydzio maiseli ir i ji prideje spinatu.
Siandien norejau pasidalinti paprastu ir skaniu spinatu pyrago receptu. Jums reikes:
apie 1 kg. Spinatu
2 dideliu svogunu (gali buti ir daugiau)
sviesto spinatu ir svogunu apkepinimui
4 kiausiniu, bet gali buti ir daugiau, as nenorejau visiskai kiausinienes
2 saukstai miltu
puse arbatinio saukstelio kepimo milteliu
Fermentinio surio
Prieskoniu pagal skoni.

Spinatus ir svogunus apkepinti keptuveje, tuomet juos iskresti i forma, kuria desite i orkaite. Viska apipilkite papreiskoniuotu kiausinio plakiniu su miltais ir sauksteliu kepimo milteliu, apibarstykite tarkuotu fermentiniu suriu ir pasaukite i orkaite, kepkite kol kiausinio plakinys pageltonuos, o tuomet jau skanaus :)

Yesterday I have cooked Popeye dinner. While residing in Lithuania it is true to say that the spinach were not so common in our kitchen. Spinach was more known in a cartoon about sailor Popeye.

However, markets in Turkey is always full with a cheap and abundant fresh spinach, people here are buying it in kilograms. For you to imagine how does it look a kilogram of spinach, I would advice to imagine MAXIMA medium-sized bags that are filled with spinach .

Today I wanted to share a simple and delicious spinach pie recipe.

You will need:
about 1 kg. Spinach
2 large onions(if you like onion taste it may be more)
butter for onion and spinach saute
4 eggs, but may be more than 4, I did not want a meal with too much eggs flavours
2 spoons of flour and
half teaspoon baking powder
Cheese
Season

Fry-saute spinach and onion in the pan on a litlle bit of butter or oil, then transfer them into a form. Pour whisked eggs, that actually looks much more like omlet with flour and teaspoon baking powder, cover it with grated cheese. Bake until the eggs become golden yellow. Bon apetit.
